How to inspect
¿What and how to inspect racking?
All steel storage equipment in use is subject to inspection in accordance with standards UNE-EN 15635 and UNE 58018 and is specified in standard UNE-EN 15878 ‘Metal shelving storage systems. Terms and definitions’. These include:
- Adjustable pallet racking.
- Shelving systems.
- Cantilever.
- Drive-In.
- Life flow systems.
- Multi-tier structures.
- Automated warehouses.
- Mezzanines.
The inspector will carry out the following checks:
- Shelving components.
- Configuration in accordance with rating plates
Assembly. - Load units.
- Operation and use of shelving.
- Environment.
